Devil wears Prada actor Stanley Tucci responds playfully to Ann Hathaway’s “diva” comment.

Hathaway was recently featured in The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and jokingly said her costar Stanley was the “greatest diva.” The devil wears Prada 2 set because “he’s so picky about his clothes.”

Stanley even approved of Ann’s comment on the red carpet of the fashion film’s New York City premiere back then People asked.

He replied, “No doubt.”

Stanley then jokingly said, “I’m terrible, just terrible.”

The outlet then cleared up Stanley’s misunderstanding of the definition of the term “diva,” noting that it’s a “good thing…means being confident.”

To which the actor agreed and said, “Yes, I think you are right.”

The cast of Devil wears Prada, including Ann, Stanley, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt have reunited for the upcoming sequel to the fashion film, set to hit theaters on May 2.

Ann reprises her role as Andy Sachs, Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly and Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton.

The movie, per Variety, follows Priestly’s story “as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and as she confronts the character of Blunt, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.”
