Jimmy Kimmel show staffers take ‘sigh of relief’ with latest announcement

Jimmy Kimmel to return as a host of his Late-Night Show

Jimmy Kimmel will return again for his Late-Night Show after his sudden suspension.

On September 17, fans were shocked to hear that the 57-year-old TV gastheer was postponed for his show, which was broadcast last Wednesday.

The shocking step was done by Disney’s ABC as a punishment for his insensitive comments about the deceased activist Charlie Kirk.

Earlier today it was confirmed that the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show returns to the canal on September 23, whereby the comedian takes the chair back as a host.

The employees who worked on the show were worried because of the unexpected stopping the program. But the new update left them relieved.

After the show was announced, one of the employees revealed: “Relief and joy across the board.”

He told further PEOPLE, “Me and my colleagues are overjoyed. I can’t wait to see tomorrow’s monologue.”

The employee further revealed that the news was shared with them with a very simple explanation, other than those who were publicly released.

The member said: “It was short and for the matter. Just share the good news and tell us to come to work tomorrow.”

But Disney’s official statement was: “Last Wednesday we made the decision to suspend production at the show to further avoid a tense situation for our country at an emotional moment.”

“It is a decision that we made because we found that some comments were poorly timed and therefore insensitive.”

The announcement continued: “We have spent thoughtful conversations with Jimmy in the last days and after those conversations we made the decision to give the show back on Tuesday.”
