A new channel 4 -documentary, TaylorOffers a fresh look at the early career of Superster Taylor Swift.

The film contains songwriter Robert Ellis Orrall, who worked for the first time in 2003 with a 13-year-old Swift.

Orrall was immediately hit by its talent and creative vision. “From the start, Taylor directed the session,” he says in the documentary.

Orrall reveals that she wrote three songs together during their first sessions, two of which came on her debut album Taylor Swift.

He then holds a CD up in front of the camera, with a collection of her work from that time. “I have tons of this from far back,” he says, and unveils a wealth of 16 previously not -produced numbers from 2003.

“None of that is something you’ve ever heard.”

The documentary emphasizes the ruthless drive of the singer, even as a teenager. Orrall remembers that her father said she had already written 15 songs herself.

He calls her all creative ideas during their collaborations and calls her a ‘powerhouse’. Orrall also helped Swift to discover by encouraging her to act in Nashville’s famous Bluebird Cafe.

It was there that she attracted the attention of Scott Borchetta, who drew her as one of the first artists on his new label, Big Machine Records.

The documentary briefly hits her public fight and legal fighting, including her well -known dispute with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. It also deals with her victory in a civil case of sexual violence against DJ David Mueller in 2017.

The former manager of Swift, Rick Barker, is also being interviewed, offers his perspective on her career and gives hope for her future with her fiancé, Travis Kelce.

The documentary Taylor Will will be broadcast on Tuesday 30 September on Channel 4.
