‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ first guests after return revealed




Jimmy Kimmel Live! Is back in the air after a break for almost a week, and the first line-up of guests has now been revealed.

The return of the show in the late night comes after ABC had drawn it indefinitely after controversy about comments Kimmel made about Charlie Kirk’s Killer, who led criticism to FCC chairman Brendan Carr.

Kimmel will welcome Glen Powell and Sarah Mclachlan back for his first show, according to Term.

Powell, who made waves in Hollywood, is currently promoting his new Hulu Sports Comedy series Chad Powers.

The six -part project, which he has made and plays, also contains Steve Zahn, Toby Huss, Perry Mattfeld and Wynn Everett.

The show will premiere on September 30.

In the meantime, Mclachlan will enter the stage as the musical guest of the night. She is currently promoting her new album Better broken and the ABC News -Documentary Lilith Fair: Build a mystery.

Directed by Ally Pankiw and released on September 21, the documentary investigates the inheritance of the McLachlan festival founded by Women’s Festival in the late 1990s.

Mclachlan recently stood at Kimmel after Disney reached the show and chose not to act at the premiere of her documentary in Solidarity.

By addressing the crowd, she thought about the challenges with which artists are confronted when liberties are under pressure.

‘It’s a gift for all of us to see [this film]But I am also struggling with being here tonight and about what to say about the current situation that we are all dealing with, the grim contraction to the many progress we have made to the treacherous erosion of women’s rights, trans and queer rights, the muile of free speech, ‘she said.

She added: “I think we are all anxious about what comes afterwards, and none of us know, but what I know is that I have to continue to push as an artist, as a woman to find a way … I believe we all have to work on a mitigation to let the possibility of a better way in, because I see music to find a common ground.”

Other guests in line this week are Ethan Hawke, Lisa Ann Walter, Peyton Manning, Oscar Nuñez and musical artists Yungblud and Alex G.
