While Elizabeth Hurley is growing closer to Billy Ray Cyrus and children, his ex-wife Tish Cyrus is said to be upset.
Insiders revealed that tensions are brewing within the Cyrus family. This comes as Noah Cyrus invited her father and Braison Cyrus on stage during her performance at the Stagecoach Festival in California. Later, Elizabeth praised the family moment on Instagram, saying how much she enjoyed watching the trio perform.
On the other hand, Miley Cyrus and Brandi Cyrus are said to be “protective” of Tish Cyrus.
“They are very protective of their mother and can’t help but get angry when they see her in pain,” the source said.
Sources also claim that Tish struggled to see Liz’s bond with Noah and Braison following her divorce from Billy Ray in 2022. Particularly when Billy Ray first met Elizabeth while filming the 2022 movie Christmas in Paradise, this is a touchy subject for Tish.
However, the source noted, “Billy Ray and Liz have been very clear that nothing happened between them at that point.”
“They insist there was nothing but a good working relationship between them. But Tish will never forget how it made her feel,” she added.
Although Tish is already married to Dominic Purcell, the source noted, “It doesn’t matter how happy she is with Dominic.”
“She will still see Liz as the other woman in her marriage. So of course it hits a nerve to see her interact with Noah and Braison. Especially since her own relationship with them has been so rocky since the divorce,” she added.
