Hugh Jackman’s ex-wife Deborra-lee Furness would make things very difficult for him and Sutton Foster. So much so that it has simply dropped that frustrations are high.
A well-placed source spoke up Women’s Day and spoke about the issues bubbling behind the surface because of Deborra-lee Furness.
According to the insider, “Hugh is becoming increasingly angry as more and more people in Hollywood are quietly turning against him. He thinks Deb is behind it and says poison is constantly dripping from her camp.”
According to him, “it’s not just Nicole,” the insider explained, “he’s now convinced Naomi Watts and Russell Crowe are making him fall for Deb too.”
Moreover, the problems are now starting to mean that his lover is also surrounded by his ‘nightmare’ and “he is very protective of her and says it is incredibly unfair that she is left out by people who used to enjoy hanging out with her,” they added.
Throughout this process, he “asks Deb not to stir the pot,” but he says this has gone “way beyond a normal breakup.” So “he is no longer willing to sit back and take it.”
For those unfamiliar, the biggest reason his ex-wife still has access to Jackman is due to their efforts to sell their luxury West Village condo, which has been on the market since 2022 and has also seen a significant price drop.
Currently, “selling this place was supposed to be easy, but it has become a nightmare.”
As it stands, prices have been reduced to facilitate this and get off the market as quickly as possible, but “there’s a lot of finger-pointing about who’s responsible for the mess they’re in now,” they admit. “Once they finalized the divorce it seemed like they were ready to move on – but things are getting heated again.”
Given the current circumstances, “if they can’t find a way to agree on what to do next, lawyers may still get involved. Every day that goes by without a sale, they’re losing money.”
