Mindy Kaling has finally revealed why she doesn’t want to get married.
In a new interview with Rushthe 46-year-old comedian shared that when she was young, her two biggest goals were to work on Saturday Night Live and get married.
“Professionally, I always wanted to write for Saturday Night Live and be a cast member for Saturday Night Live,” Mindy said. ‘Personally, I wanted to get married. None of these things happened.”
When told that these things could still happen, Mindy responded that she no longer feels like she needs them to feel fulfilled.
“That’s interesting,” says the Late evening actress replied. “Those things can happen, but I think I don’t necessarily need them anymore, maybe, which is a nice feeling.”
Mindy hasn’t shared much publicly about her dating life. Notably, she was in a relationship with her close friend BJ Novak from 2004 to 2007.
In the same interview, Mindy also opened up about her relationship with BJ Novak.
“He’s really in our family and I love talking about him because my kids love him, and he’s such a big part of our lives,” the actor said. Never have I ever Creator. “But I also know that it gives people a lot of ideas.”
“If I was looking at it from the outside, I would have the same questions and the same reactions,” she admitted.
