NASA is all set to host a press conference to officially share the lunar base plans and highlight progress toward sustainable lunar habitation.
The main motive behind this conference is to discuss the progress of the program, including new industry partners and mission plans. Experts on the subject will be available for one-on-one interaction after the press conference concludes.
Conference participants include NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman, Lori Glaze as associate administrator, and Carlos Garcia-Galan, program director at Moon Base.
Due to the presence of media who are unable to attend the press conferences in person, questions can be asked by telephone. It is relevant to know that participation will be confirmed in person or by telephone no later than May 26 at 11:00 am.
NASA is working efficiently to promote lunar development in the wake of the lunar exploration program designed to enable long-term use and extensive scientific and commercial activities at the moon’s south pole.
In particular, NASA will send astronauts on challenging missions to explore more of the moon for scientific discoveries and economic benefits that will lay the foundation for future human missions to Mars.
It is pertinent to note that the media briefing will officially take place at the agency’s headquarters in Washington.
