‘Love Island’ star Ronnie Vint puts an end to years of hairline jokes with new look

Ronnie Vint has launched a new hairline following his recent hair transplant in response to years of online bullying about his appearance.

The 29-year-old footballer and former Love Island contestant dropped a new photo on Instagram, showing off his fresh new look after the procedure.

“New hairline that dis [sic],” one person commented upon seeing the reality star’s transformation.

“About time,” wrote another, while a third joked: “Looks like a GTA character bro.”

Overall, the entire comment section approved of the new look with praise like “looking sharp” or telling him he looks “great.”

Ronnie first appeared on the ITV dating show in 2024 before returning for the All stars series in 2025.

Last week Ronnie confirmed he had had a hair transplant at a clinic in Harley Street. He told his followers that he finally felt ready to go through with the treatment after thinking about it for a while.

During his time on the reality show, Ronnie’s hair became a regular topic online. Some viewers mocked his hairline, while others incorrectly claimed he was wearing a wig or hairpiece.

Ronnie previously admitted on Spotify personality Olivia Attwood’s podcast that he used hair fibers to make his hair look fuller. He explained that he had been using the product for years to cover thinner areas.

In addition to the transformation of his appearance, Ronnie’s love life also made headlines during his stay Love Island. Throughout both seasons, he had an on-and-off relationship with fellow contestant Harriett Blackmore.

The pair first got together during series 11 but were dumped from the villa shortly after coupling. They later reunited during the All stars edition when Harriett entered the villa as a surprise participant.

Although they briefly tried to make the relationship work off the show, reports later claimed that they broke up after frequent arguments. The couple reportedly reconciled again before eventually ending things for a third time.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that ITV bosses have already started preparations for the next series Love Islandwhich is expected to start on June 1.
