Nicole Kidman has explained how she and Keith Urban’s plan to share educational responsibilities for their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17 and Faith Margaret, 14, after their divorce.

Court papers submitted in Nashville on Tuesday and obtained by Page six Reception that Kidman asked to be the ‘primary residential parent’, who would give her custody of the children for 306 days every year.

Urban would have 59 days, with his time for the weekend from Saturday morning to Sunday evening.

The documents also outline a detailed holiday schedule. According to the application, Kidman will spend autumn holidays with the children in odd numbered years, while Urban will have them during autumn breaks in equally numbered years.

Christmas holidays will also alternate. Transport for children’s trips will be shared immediately between the two parents.

Kidman and Urban have agreed to make all the important decisions for their daughters together, including those with education, health care, religion and extracurricular activities.

However, every parent may make daily decisions while the children are under care.

Neither parties will pay child benefit under the conditions of the agreement, which suggests that the couple had worked out many of the details in advance.

In her submission, Kidman stated September 30 – on the same day she officially submitted the divorce work as their date of divorce.

She mentioned “irreconcilable differences” as the reason to end the marriage.

A source close to the actress told Page six Earlier this week, the Kidman “did not want the divorce and tried to save things,” but in the end “sometimes relationships just have their loop.”

The Oscar-winning star asked the court to maintain both its parenting plan and the marital dissolution agreement that they and Urban have to maintain.
