Jennifer Aniston recently explained why she declined Saturday evening live show.
The Friends alum reflected on the rejection SNL show during a performance at Dax Shepards’ Armchair expert podcast.
When the host asked SNL Jennifer nodded yes and replied, “I always thought I wasn’t meant to be.”
“The story of all that is very confusing, honestly I should ask Lorne today because I remember being in New York City,” the 56-year-old recalled.
Murder mystery actress continued, “I don’t know why I had this self-righteous attitude, like women on this show are treated the way they should be treated.”
“It’s a very male-dominated show and I would love to be a part of it like I was in the days of Gilda Radner,” Jennifer continued.
The Morning Show However, the star didn’t remember much of what happened at the time, but she revealed that she was given the opportunity to star in the lead role Friends.
Elsewhere in the interview, Jennifer discussed issues with infertility and public scrutiny over her choices.
The Terrible bosses actress said she has made peace with having children.
