Hailey Bieber is setting the record straight when it comes to her stance on Botox.
During her recent performance at Owen Thiele’s In your dreams podcast, the 28-year-old model and founder of Rhode Skincare got candid about her beauty routine, family and how she deals with the constant online chatter about her appearance.
“I don’t have Botox except in my jaw for TMJ, but I don’t have Botox in my face,” Hailey clarified, putting to rest long-standing speculation about cosmetic work.
She added that she had made a personal decision to stay away from Botox for the time being.
“I promised myself I wouldn’t do Botox until I was in my 30s. When I get there, I’ll see if I even want to do it.”
Hailey also shared that her mother, graphic designer Kennya Baldwin, 57, influenced her low-maintenance approach to beauty.
“My mom doesn’t do anything with her skin and she looks crazy,” she said, praising her mother’s natural glow.
Although she hasn’t opted for wrinkle-relaxing injections, Hailey isn’t against all cosmetic treatments.
She revealed that she enjoys platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) treatments, both of which use a person’s own blood to rejuvenate the skin.
“So I love PRP, which is when they take your blood from your arm and swirl it around. I love doing PRP with microneedling,” she explained.
“They take your blood – but it’s called EZ Gel – and basically they heat it and then they cool it, and it makes your blood kind of a gel-like consistency. And then you inject it. So I did that, which I loved… I injected my laugh lines. I injected it under my eyes.”
Because the procedure uses her own plasma, Hailey says she feels completely comfortable with it.
“It comes from your own body, so you can trust it,” she noted, adding that she “gets PRF injections a few times a year.”
Additionally, she keeps her skincare routine simple, saying she’s only done “light little lasers” but nothing more drastic.
Between running her beauty brand Rhode, managing her busy life with husband Justin Bieber, and dealing with public criticism, Hailey continues to show that her beauty philosophy is all about balance and embracing what feels good in the moment.
