Camila Mendes and Rudy Mancuso are engaged after three years of dating, and the proposal was straight out of a fairytale.
The. will take place on Friday, October 24 Riverdale alum said “yes” to the comedian and announced the happy news in a joint Instagram post.
“Engaged to my best friend,” the new bride-to-be wrote in the caption as she shared photos of the dreamy proposal. Mancuso got down on one knee at the end of a hallway decorated with white sheets, flowers and candles.
Just hours before their official announcement, Mendes’ rep broke the news in a statement People magazine.
The YouTube star popped the question to their family and friends, although Mendes was completely taken aback.
“She thought she was going to a birthday party for production partner Rachel Matthews, but it was a surprise engagement party. Rudy proposed to her in front of their family and friends,” the spokesperson revealed.
To keep the festivities going, Mendes, 31, and Mancuso, 33, then attended Glen Powell’s birthday party at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
The happy couple met in 2022 on the set of Música – a romantic coming-of-age comedy released in 2024 – written by Mancuso, with Mendes playing his love interest.
