Jennifer Aniston is finally opening up about her relationship with Jim Curtis, and she can’t help but gush over him.
In her Elle Women of the Year cover story, published on Wednesday, November 12, the Emmy-winning actress opened up for the first time about her relationship with the hypnotist, calling him “pretty extraordinary.”
“Hypnotism is one of the many things he does,” says the Friends said alum. “He is very special and helps a lot of people.”
Aniston, 56, described Curtis, 50, as “very special” and “very normal,” explaining that he has dedicated his life to helping others heal. “[He] wants to help people heal, process their trauma and stagnation and create clarity,” she says. “It is something beautiful to dedicate your life to.”
Aniston first sparked romance rumors with Curtis in July after they were spotted on holiday in Mallorca with Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka. But according to We weeklythe couple had been quietly dating for months before their trip.
After Curtis joined her for the season 4 premiere of The Morning ShowAniston launched the relationship on Instagram in September by posting a photo of Curtis from behind, before officially launching it hard with an intimate black and white photo in November. “Happy birthday my love,” she captioned the photo, adding: “Cherished.”
Curtis, a wellness expert, quickly returned the affection online. He shared several photos of the couple together and wrote, “If this is a dream I don’t want to wake up.”
Earlier this month, he reflected on finding love later in life, telling his followers that relationships after 40 come with “more confidence, more experience and more authenticity.”
