Taylor Swift drops new ‘Eras Tour’ docuseries trailer: ‘We’re going backstage’


The six-part docuseries will be released on December 12, one day before Taylor Swift’s 36th birthday

Taylor Swift just dropped the official trailer for the upcoming Disney+ documentary about her multiple record-breaking years The Eras tour. The trailer dropped on Good Morning America on November 13 – just one month after Swift first announced the docuseries, and one month before her 36th birthday on December 13.

“Honestly, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than by reliving the Eras Tour with you! This time we’re going backstage,” the pop megastar wrote while sharing the trailer on Instagram.

“I came up with the idea of ​​the Eras tour about two years before the tour started. I wanted to serve the fans too well, in terms of how many songs they were going to play here, and how far I was going to push myself,” Swift says in the trailer.

“My main goal is to give the fans something they didn’t expect,” she explains.

The multi-Grammy winner goes on to mention “all the dancers, the choreographers, the production designers, the crew, the whole band,” emphasizing that “every single person” on her team is the best in the entire industry.

“This was a seismic, momentous time in my life, and in the lives of everyone this tour touched,” says Swift.
