Did Stefon Diggs pop the question to Cardi B during her divorce from Offset?
On Wednesday, November 19, the Grammy-winning rapper shared the first photos of her and the NFL star’s newborn boy, and fans immediately noticed a surprising detail.
The proud mother of four posted a carousel of images with her little bundle of joy, with the last image showing a huge ring on her engagement finger.
Cardi, 33, kicked things off with a tender photo of herself holding the newborn in a highchair. Her son’s name is still under wraps, but she has him dressed in a tiny New England Patriots cap and onesie, a subtle nod to Diggs, 31, who plays wide receiver for the team.
Another image showed Cardi, Diggs and their baby in the hospital room shortly after his birth, with the child’s face blurred out.
She also shared close-ups of the cozy onesie and a sweet cuddle moment.
But it was the last photo that shocked fans. On her left hand was a silver ring with a modest diamond, which immediately sparked speculation.
She confirmed her baby’s birth date as November 4 in the caption, adding a teddy bear and a football emoji.
Diggs replied in the comments section, “Proud of your boo butt!!! I love you,” and revealed their son’s nickname: “Brim.”
Cardi announced her son’s arrival in a Nov. 13 Instagram post, saying, “My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons… My last chapter was the beginning of a new season…”
She remains legally married to Offset, with whom she shares Kulture, Wave and Blossom, although they split in 2024.
Cardi and Diggs first sparked dating rumors in February and confirmed their romance in May. In September, she revealed she was expecting their first child together.
