Mai Whelan won season one of Squid Game: The Challenge. Now, during season two, Player 287 is raising questions about its authenticity.
The winner specifically pointed out Mingle, the game played in episode four, as described in the interview with the Reality alert podcast.
She questions the decision of the participants to come together to protest the game. “How can anyone stay together when they signed up to play this damn game? Like… ‘I refuse to play,’ and then eliminate them all?”
However, several season two contestants fired back at her. Anlenie, Player 405, says, “There was nothing written about that uprising. We can’t discuss the behind-the-scenes stuff because of NDA, but we were really ready to walk. The production just turned it into a storyline after the fact. There was no script for it. There was drama in Catch, too.”
Steven Jones Jr. (player 183) writes: “Lmao. Mai has no idea.” His fellow participant, Curt Stinson (player 370), says: “You are 100% right!”
“The money went to her head, Steven; she forgot where she came from REALITY TV,” Kevin Diaz (player 402) also added.
Squid game: the challenge sseason 2 is streaming on Netflix.
