Kanye West’s ex-partner Adidas gets victory in court

The court rules in favor of Adidas regarding the Kanye West lawsuit

Kanye West had a long association with Adidas; together they created mega-hit products. But it all came to a halt when the Chicago rap star started going on anti-Semitic outbursts in 2022.

But the disconnect with Ye had far-reaching consequences for the company as it faced notable losses as the Yeezy line is one of its prized assets.

After this another shock occurred. Several shareholders who lost money after shares plummeted at the end of the partnership with Kanye sued the company, claiming they knew about the Grammy winner’s alleged misconduct but swept it under the rug until it could no longer be hidden.

But now a San Francisco court ruled that the sportswear giant had not misled the group of investors, noting that a “reasonable investor would understand the inherent volatility of a celebrity-driven partnership.”

It’s worth noting that Adidas has donated more than $1 billion in proceeds from the Yeezy shoes it left after cutting ties with Ye to anti-hate organizations.

Meanwhile, his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, reveals a shocking claim that he accused her of lying about a robbery she faced in Paris in 2016.

“My ex-husband had said, ‘And you staged your robbery for a TV show,’ and he had said that in front of all these people,” the Skims mogul claims during the new episode of The Kardashians, adding, “That was a knife in my heart.”

She continues, “Just the thought that someone wouldn’t believe you – who is so close to you, who should know you, who should know how much of an impact that has had on your life – it really bothered me. You don’t know who I am.”

Earlier this year, ten people were found guilty in a trial that Kim also returned to Paris to attend.
