Emily Osment knows what role Dolly Parton would play Georgie and Mandy’s first marriage if she ever appears on the show.
When discussing possible new characters the series could feature, Emily told Us Weekly: “I’d like to meet Mandy’s grandma, whoever that is. I know Montana [Jordan] and I’ve talked about that quite a bit along the lines of, ‘Man, we really, really want to know who Audrey’s mom is,'” she noted.
“Because you don’t get that out of nowhere. We want to know what woman shaped her like that,” she added, noting that Parton, 79, would be a perfect fit for the character.
“We always want Dolly Parton – that’s our main goal,” she added. “I think that would be really cool, but it’s out of my control.”
Disney fans may remember that Emily previously starred alongside Dolly Hannah Montana.
‘I’ve worked with Dolly before. “I don’t know if she remembers,” she said. “It’s been a really long time and she’s so amazing. It was probably a stopgap on her journey, but [working with her again] would be my dream.”
Emily has also collaborated with country legend Reba McEntire Young Sheldonwhich was a prequel to The Big Bang Theory. The relationship between Georgie and Mandy started in Young Sheldon and continued in the spin-off Georgie and Mandy’s first marriage.
