Adrien Brody has shared his candid views on the rise of artificial intelligence in the entertainment industry.
Speaking at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, the Oscar-winning actor reflected on why AI will never replicate the depth of a human soul or emotions.
“There are new tools available now that will certainly increase all our abilities to do great work, but nothing can replace emotion,” he began.
“Even if you can make it up or whatever, we should always cherish and support the creative process and the beauty of filmmaking,” he stated.
Brody went on to clarify, “But that doesn’t mean an evolution of what is inevitable is bad. We have choices in what we as individuals choose to ingest.”
On the way to the conclusion, Brody also talked about the intense 23-day shoot for The brutalistadmitted that the process was stressful, but that he refused to ‘hold back’ while portraying architect Laszlo Toth.
