Cardi B just got a skin implant on her lower back and a new neck piercing.
The rapper shared the new look on Tuesday after an outing.
“Girls night,” the mother of four captioned photos of her in a black leather halter top and lace-up pants, topped off with a neon green wig and layered silver jewelry.
The post also included a close-up photo of her inked back and the new piercings, which she appears to have gotten about a month after the birth of her fourth child, her first with NFL star Stefon Diggs.
New York piercer Robbie (@nyc.piercing), who has worked with Travis Barker and Noah Cyrus, also posted behind-the-scenes footage of Cardi receiving the skin implants and a surface piercing on the back of her neck.
For those unfamiliar, dermals require an anchor to be placed under the skin, which is then covered with jewelry. The Association of Professional Piercers recommends waiting at least three months after giving birth before getting a piercing.
This wasn’t her only body modification this year. In January, she revealed she had a hole pierced in her butt with a $13,000 diamond accessory, a process she said was painless thanks to a previous surgery that left the area numb.
She later admitted that she lost that piercing after a month, joking that it had “gone down the toilet.”
