New gruesome details have been revealed about the murders of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele.
The couple was found dead with their throats slit after a heated argument with a family member got out of hand, according to sources who spoke to TMZ.
The relative in question is their son Nick, 32, according to multiple sources spoken to People magazine.
The couple’s daughter, Romy, who lives across the street, was the one who found them dead in their Los Angeles home. Los Angeles firefighters rushed to the Oscar-nominated director’s home around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday and found the couple dead.
She also told police that a certain family member “should be a suspect” because they are “dangerous.” TMZ.
Nick is currently being questioned by police, according to sources close to the Reiner family. The screenwriter has previously confessed to battling addiction, spending years in and out of rehab and being homeless in multiple states.
The murders are being treated as a double homicide and are being investigated by the LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division.
Rob reiner was known for his work on beloved films like Stay with Me, Spinal Tap, When Harry Met Sally, The Princess Bride, And Some good men.
