Jennifer Aniston is reportedly planning to move to New York City for her boyfriend Jim Curtis.
Radar Online reported that the 56-year-old American actress is being pressured by her new love Curtis to move to New York and has started house hunting, which has caused unrest among her inner circle, including Courteney Cox.
The insiders told the outlet that Aniston’s loved ones fear the 50-year-old hypnotherapist and author is trying to take her away from them.
According to the sources, “Jen has said for years that her biggest mistake in relationships is trying to change herself to fit what the man wants.”
“She put so much work into that issue and yet here she is, about to do it again and drastically change her life on a whim to suit Jim,” they noted.
Aniston “has said so many times that New York is good for a quick visit, but she is happiest in California. This sudden plan to get a spot in New York is so out of line, and it has really caused serious concern among her close friends because it is really out of character for her,” the insiders said.
In particular the FRIENDS alum previously moved to New York City while married to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018.
“She tried it when she was with Justin because New York is his favorite city, but it wasn’t good for her,” they said. “The feeling in her inner circle is that this is a mistake because she is putting his needs before her own.”
“She is so excited about her place in Montecito, she has spent so much time and money getting it just right and now she wants to move across the country. It makes no sense and they are trying to get her to put the brakes on this plan,” the insiders concluded.
