Nicola Peltz appears to be calling the shots in Brooklyn Beckham’s personal life as their fight with David and Victoria Beckham worsens, an insider has claimed.
The couple’s loyalty to the Peltz family has created new tensions with the football icon and fashion designer Page six.
Since their wedding in 2022 and their move to the US, Brooklyn has grown closer to the Peltz family and further away from David and Victoria.
The report claimed that both Brooklyn and Nicola blocked the Beckham family over the holidays, further inflaming tensions.
Meanwhile, David and Victoria have tried to end the rift, inviting them to family functions several times, including David’s knighthood.
However, Brooklyn’s friends said he wants to make Nicola happy, adding there are concerns the situation has gone too far.
“People are confused about the developments over the past month,” an insider told the publication.
They added: “It seemed like business had declined and the decision to discontinue follow-up [the Beckhams] – and blocking them – seems to bring it up again.
“What is Nicola trying to prove?” they added.
“As much as they (Brooklyn and the Peltzes) felt Victoria was wrong, this is petulant and short-sighted behavior, it is a way to expand the narrative that needed to go.”
Another source familiar with the feud added: “Brooklyn wants to do whatever it takes to make Nicola happy, but this is all spiraling out of control.
“I can’t imagine a world where Brooklyn wouldn’t want to see his parents again.”
