Blake Lively branded Justin Baldoni a ‘rabid pig’ after accusing him of ‘smearing’ her in a previous conversation with It ends with us author, according to a recent court document.
The 38-year-old actress’s text messages to Colleen Hoover were revealed in recently unsealed court documents, ahead of a summary trial scheduled for January 22, via People.
The conversation between Lively and Hoover took place in July 2024.
“…Despite his repeated disturbing behavior and actions, I still feel sorry for him,” Lively’s text message read. “To be reminded DAILY several times that he berates me because… he is asked not to sexually or emotionally harass me? Because he made his movie better? Because he called in every favor to attract the biggest musicians and entertainers to contribute to making his movie better? To lead a marketing campaign for free?”
The Gossip girl alum continued, “I literally don’t know of a single thing I’ve done that he can smear me about. Ryan says he should be writing me apologies and thank you letters every day. And instead he chooses to make a monster out of me… but what’s my crime. All I’ve done is stay focused on the job and give him EVERY chance to make it better. And he just keeps acting like a rabid pig.”
Hoover showed her support for Lively and called out Baldoni’s behavior.
She replied, “Exactly. I think as women and mothers we are taught to give grace until there is nothing left of us, but in times like these sometimes it’s good to be reminded that grace is wonderful until it compromises your integrity.
“I’m starting to feel bad sometimes too, but I can guarantee he hasn’t felt an ounce of guilt. He’s too busy playing the victim while you try your hardest to make a better movie that he gets credit for.”
