Blake Shelton has nothing but praise for his wife Gwen Stefani’s musical talent.
The 49-year-old country singer finally got a “night off” to attend Gwen’s residency shows in Las Vegas this weekend, taking to his Instagram account on Sunday to share a look at Gwen’s show, along with a gushing note for her.
Blake shared a clip of himself enthusiastically singing along as Stefani performed onstage with No Doubt during their residency show at the Sphere in Las Vegas. You can see him sitting in a VIP booth and clearly enjoying the performance.
Along with the video, the proud husband posted a heartfelt caption expressing pride in his wife and her bandmates. He also said that his own residency schedule had previously prevented him from attending previous shows.
“So proud of my wife @gwenstefani and the @nodoubt guys who worked their butts off and put on this amazing show. Finally a night off to see it. non-freakin-real,” he wrote.
During the performance, Gwen called out to Shelton from the stage.
“It’s Memorial Day weekend, Blake Shelton is here, I’m going to have some tequila. It’s going to be good,” she said before performing Just a Girl.
Blake later shared moments offstage, including a clip of him receiving a bright green varsity jacket with “No Doubt” written on it. He showed it off proudly as Stefani smiled next to him before the couple shared a hug.
Gwen also posted about the evening on Instagram Stories, calling it special.
“Last night was one for the books,” she wrote. “@nodoubt @spherevegas put on an incredible show!”
