Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are now parents and have welcomed a baby girl. They announce the happy news in a post on Hailee’s Substack titled “Special Delivery.”
“Our girl has arrived!!” the Sinners actress wrote in the newsletter. “We feel incredibly grateful and blessed and are enjoying these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
Last December, Steinfeld and Allen announced that they were expecting their first child together.
The actress shared a round-up of her 29 favorite moments from the past year in her Substack newsletter in honor of her 29th birthday.
At the end of her list, Steinfeld added a video announcing her pregnancy, as she posed in the snow while showing off her pregnant belly around her husband Josh, who kissed her belly.
The couple later shared the video in a joint Instagram post. In the comments, Josh wrote, “I love you.”
Later, during a press conference in January, Josh also admitted that he was very excited to become a father and was looking forward to this new chapter of his life.
“It’s something I’ll go into with great pride. And we’ll have to figure things out as we go, just like everything else,” he said.
“But this is the most important thing I’ll ever be in my life, is being a father. And I know I love being a football player, and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. But I’m looking forward to it,” Allen added at the time.
In addition, Hailee also shared her thoughts on motherhood and posted a blog titled “Getting our ducks in a row” for her Substack Beau Society.
“As I’ve been tuning in, I’ve experienced the surreal realization that our world is about to expand in beautiful ways. We’re getting ready to meet someone we already love so much,” she said, adding, “I’ve been racking my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don’t have them yet. Maybe that’s the point. For now, I’m blessed to be able to settle into that feeling.”
Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen first started dating in 2023 and then got married on May 31 in Santa Barbara, California.
