Jennifer Lawrence got real about some disturbing experiences she faced early in her career, revealing that certain male co-stars would “punish” her if she refused their advances.
The 35-year-old Oscar winner shared the story during an appearance on the podcast Las Culturistas while talking about filming her new movie Die my love.
Jennifer told hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers that she didn’t need an intimacy coordinator on set because she felt completely safe working with her co-star Robert Pattinson.
However, the actress made it clear that he was never one of the actors who treated her poorly.
“A lot of male actors get offended when you don’t want to fuck them,” Jennifer said. “And then the punishment begins.”

About working with Robert, Jennifer said: “He is not perverted and very much in love with Suki (Waterhouse).
We mainly talked about our children and relationships. So there was no weird question: ‘Does he think I like him?’ stuff.”
Her new movie Die my love, directed by Lynne Ramsay, it hits theaters on November 7.
It is based on the novel about a woman’s mental and emotional problems after becoming a mother.
