Katy Perry has strongly denied allegations of sexual abuse against Ruby Rose.
The mother of one, who is making the rounds online because of her romantic association with Justin Trudeau, says rose-tinted comments about alleged sexual abuse are dangerous lies.
“The accusations Ruby Rose is spreading on social media about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies,” Perry’s rep said.
“Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have been repeatedly denied by said individuals,” the statement continued.
“Katy Perry sexually assaulted me at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. Who cares what she thinks,” Rose previously wrote in response to a message from Complex Music.
“While I’m so grateful that I stuck with it long enough to find my voice, it just goes to show how impactful trauma and sexual assault are. Thank you for seeing me,” she said.
