Usher has denied claims that he and Justin Bieber had a “heated argument” at the Oscars party.
Last week, TMZ reported that the 47-year-old rapper got into an intense argument with his fellow musician after Usher angrily approached Justin during the star-studded party.
But Usher’s friend Da Brat shut down reports of a feud between the singers during an episode of The Rickey Smiley Show.
“I talked to Usher and he said, ‘This is an exaggeration of the conversation,’” Da Brat said. “He’s been nothing but supportive of a lot of issues that Justin Bieber has had over the years and y’all can check the records of that, he has been.”
“Justin is on his own journey and dealing with his own reality that he has created,” the rapper continued. “Usher wishes him nothing but the best, and they harbor no animosity toward each other.”
She went on to say that the two musicians “absolutely love each other.”
“People just take things out of context when they see something and run with it, and I’m just here to say that’s not the problem,” Da Brat added. “They’re definitely cool with each other, and they have love and they support each other.”
