Zendaya and Tom Holland never miss a good cooking session in the kitchen, but the burning question everyone has for the American couple is: “Who is the better cook?”
In one PEOPLE-exclusive clip from the episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, Zendaya, amid rapid-fire questions, weighed in on the culinary treats her fiancé, Tom, makes for her.
“It’s really cute,” The drama star (in theaters Friday, April 3) told presenter Hudson.
Zendaya explained how Tom’s brother Sam, a professional chef, “recently came out with a cookbook. And it’s really sweet because Tom pulls it out and he’s like, ‘Okay, I’m going to find all the vegetarian stuff and I’m going to try different recipes from my brother so you can try them.'”
The 29-year-old also says she has been a vegetarian since she was 11 and Tom revealed in December 2024 that he had prepared several vegetarian meals for his then-girlfriend while she was filming.
In a conversation with Hudson, Zendaya then made a shocking confession. “He’s probably—I mean, now he knows I’m admitting this—the better cook,” she said, facetiously and reluctantly.
“I’m doing my best,” added the Dune star. “My spicy vodka spread is really good. I have a few things I can do that I like, you know, I’ll stick with that. But,” she said, coughing to hide the truth, “I think he might be better at it than me.”
And of course, “to be fair,” her frequent co-star “can call his brother at any time,” she added, something Zendaya might do as well, Hudson noted.
Last August, Tom Holland’s brother, Sam Holland, said this The times that the Spider Man actor actually made vegetarian recipes for his soon-to-be sister-in-law.
“I sent those recipes to Tom when he was having dinner while she was making a movie in Boston,” the chef and author said.
Sam told how Tom started cooking, saying: “He went through them one by one and really enjoyed them.”
