Blake Lively is said to be confident she will be invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.
However, insiders close to the situation shared that Swift carefully curated the guest list.
Given the recent controversy surrounding Lively’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni, the source claims the Gossip Girl alum’s invite is far from guaranteed.
A source told Rob Shuter Naughty but fun substack“People around Taylor aren’t so sure.”
They added, “They don’t see Blake as a must-have guest.”
The tipster continued, “There’s a lot of baggage right now. And Taylor is incredibly careful with her guest list.”
It’s pertinent to mention that Lively truly believes that “she’ll be there,” in fact, she’s “not even considering the alternative,” with the source noting that “Blake is completely optimistic.”
“She acts like the invitation has already been sent in the mail. She keeps going back to the beginning. She was there when Taylor and Travis first got together — she feels part of their story,” the insider claims.
For those who don’t know, Taylor Swift and Blake Lively were good friends for years. But when the Love Story hitmaker’s private text messages with the actress were made public amid her legal drama with Baldoni, the pair appeared distant.
A source said earlier People magazine, “Taylor feels like her privacy has been compromised.”
“Anyone would feel uncomfortable if their private texts were suddenly made public,” she added.
In addition, Lively and Swift were previously photographed together more often, but the two have not been spotted together since October 2024.
