Sonic 4 director Jeff Fowler has shared an exciting update on the upcoming action-adventure comedy.
On Friday, the filmmaker announced on his Instagram that he has finished filming Sonic the Hedgehog 4.
“Wrapping up #SonicMovie4!!! On behalf of this incredible cast/crew, we filmed the BEST Sonic movie yet and can’t wait to share it,” wrote Jeff, who directed all three films. Sonic movies.
Along with the announcement, the director shared a photo of himself with the next sequel’s villain, Metal Sonic.
As the post went viral, fans rushed to the comments section to express their excitement about the upcoming project.

The film’s star-studded cast includes James Marsden, Jim Carrey, Tika Sumpter, Ben Schwartz, Idris Elba, Keanu Reeves and Kristen Bell. However, the plot details for the fourth part are still under wraps.
For those who are not at home, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 19, 2027.
