John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are breaking stereotypes by prioritizing their children over their acting careers.

The 46-year-old actor recently appeared on CBS mornings, where he was asked how he and his wife balance their busy careers with caring for their two daughters.

To which John replied, “Honestly, the simple answer is ‘children and family first.’ Fortunately, we have always done that well [movie] and then the next [one]. So one of us is always at home with the children.”

The Jack Ryan by Tom Clancy alum added that he and his wife take their daughters “wherever we shoot.”

“We take those kids wherever we film and wherever we can spend time with them. So we filmed all this in New York, A Quiet Place in New York and Jack Ryan was in London,” John said.

‘They came with us to London. It’s a circus! It’s a family circus!’ the movie star added.

For those unfamiliar, John tied the knot with Emily in 2010, and the famous couple share two daughters: Hazel, 11, and Violet, 9.

John recently shared that his daughters are more impressed with their mother’s acting career than with him. The Jack Ryan: Ghost War The star also revealed that his children think Emily is much cooler than him.
