Lainey Wilson is now married!
The country music star and the former NFL player tied the knot on Sunday in Dickson, Tennessee Fashion.
They reportedly arrived in a white horse-drawn carriage and were married by Wilson’s close friend and mentor, Wes Williams.
“My absolute dream ceremony,” Wilson told the outlet. “There is a small waterfall flowing down the hill behind the altar and windows. The waterfall convinced us to do the ceremony at this location.”
News of the wedding comes after the country superstar announced on Instagram last February that she and Hodges, who is now a real estate agent, were engaged.
She shared the news alongside a series of romantic photos and videos with the caption “4x4xU forever,” a nod to her hit song.
Wilson revealed that too PEOPLE magazine that the ring was placed in a mini cowboy hat-shaped box during the proposal.
“Man, I tell you what, trying to get me in trouble is, it’s a lot,” she admitted. “But I will say that even the hatbox situation, he proposed to me with the little hatbox, and so just being able to do that and celebrate our engagement and our love at the same time, it feels good.”
She described Hodges as her “biggest supporter” and “biggest cheerleader.”
“The sky’s the limit, that’s how he acts on everything,” Lainey Wilson said. “He’s just the place I get to call home, and I’m very lucky to have him, and I think he’s very lucky to have me, too.”
