Rickea Jackson left the Chicago Sky’s game against the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday with a left knee injury, raising concerns after her impressive start to the 2026 WNBA season.
Jackson went down midway through the second quarter after driving toward the basket and trying to change direction after contact with a defender.
She collapsed to the ground in visible pain and pointed to her left knee as medical staff attended to her before helping her off the field.
The 25-year-old was later ruled out for the remainder of the match.
Before leaving, Jackson had scored six points while shooting 50 percent from the field, along with one rebound and one block.
Jackson came to Chicago this offseason after being traded from the Los Angeles Sparks in a deal involving two-time All-Star Ariel Atkins.
Her arrival helped transform the Sky at the start of this season. Chicago entered Sunday’s game with a 2-1 record, while Jackson had averaged 22 points, six rebounds and 2.7 assists per game through her first three outings.
The former fourth overall draft pick also emerged as Chicago’s top scoring option alongside veteran guard Skylar Diggins before the injury setback.
