Lauren Alaina finally admitted that motherhood gave her the perspective she’s needed for years.
For those who don’t know, the 31-year-old American singer-songwriter and her husband, Cam Arnold, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Beni Doll Arnold, on June 11, 2025.
On Sunday, May 17, Alaina attended the 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards, where she confessed that motherhood has given her a kind of confidence she’s never felt before.
Speaking to Amber Anderson and Kelly Sutton, hosts of Amazon Music’s Red Carpet Show, she said: “I’m the most confident I’ve ever been because I’ve been trying so hard for the last 15 years to achieve and create something, and when I had my daughter and married my husband, that’s when I made it.”
“So now I feel like the rest of this is just a bonus,” says the Wings of an angel singer noted.

Notably, Alaina could not be part of the awards ceremonies that took place in 2025 because she was 37 weeks pregnant.
During last year’s Academy of Country Music Awards, she posted a video on her Instagram because the expectant mother felt “left out.”
“I just really want to be there. I want to participate in these awards and even be able to present the awards and walk the carpet and be with my friends,” he said. Like my mother does hitmaker said at the time.
It is pertinent to mention that Lauren Alaina is currently planning to throw a first birthday party for her baby daughter, Beni.
