Josh Allen candidly revealed a funny habit of his that irritates his wife, Hailee Steinfeld.
During a recent chat on the Centered on Buffalo podcast with former Buffalo Bills player Eric Wood, the NFL star, who welcomed his first baby with the Sinners actress revealed last month that he gives hilarious reactions when Hailee tries to fix something in his beard or mustache.
“Every time she tries something, like if I have something in my beard or mustache and she starts reaching for it, I always bark and snap,” Allen said.
Josh then explained that the habit comes from his childhood and something his father used to do.
“It’s something my dad did, you know?” Josh recalled. “We were little kids touching the sideburns on his face and he was like, argh, you know? So every time I do that, it hits her every time and I can’t not do it. It’s like it’s there for the taking and I have to take it.”
Elsewhere in the conversation, Josh’s fellow athlete asked if he had any annoyance with Hailee.
“Absolutely nothing, Eric,” Josh replied quickly with a smile. “What are you trying to do here? What are you trying to do to me?”
It is pertinent to mention that the new parents are all set to celebrate their first wedding anniversary on May 31.
