Drake’s secret formula for going viral revealed by comedian?

This is why Drake is ‘brilliant’ in the way he has made the latest albums viral

Drake stunned the music world with not one but three albums.

These new songs helped his career skyrocket and took him to the top of several charts.

But to achieve this he used different strategies.

The first is the element of surprise.

Fans have no idea that the Canadian rapper also drops two more albums Iceman.

Then the stunt with the ice blocks in the middle of Toronto.

However, it appears that there is another marketing strategy that Drizzy has been pursuing.

Trevor Noah, a comedian and host, references it in a recent conversation.

It’s called ‘Fake Trend’

A campaign was allegedly conducted to influencers on social media based on making videos on them.

It is done in an attempt to make it go viral, and in return the influencer gets paid for the number of views he manages to get.

Noah suggests Drake did it with his new album.

“I think Drake made this voice’s latest album; it’s pretty brilliant.”

He continues: They’ve gone to everyone online, not just influencers.”

“They have it; you join this platform, I forget the name of the platform, and essentially it sells the services of just the people online.”

“And what happens is I can get out there and say that, like Trevor, I have a campaign that I want to launch.”

Noah explains how it worked

“I have $10,000, and I pay it to the agency,” he says.

“The service then goes to everyone who has signed up for it, who is just a regular person online, and says to them.”

“Hey, find a way to play this song, find a way to make this campaign go viral, and we’ll pay you per view. So you’re not paying people who failed.”

It seems like Drake is calling the shots now, with three albums hitting the charts at the same time.
