Nicole Kidman still seemed to hold her marriage, just a few days before the news about her split of Keith Urban became public.
On 25 September the Oscar-winning actress De Clé de Peau Beauté attended: The key to radiance is your event in the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, where she posed for photos with her original wedding ring.
Dressed in a slender black column dress with gold accessories, Kidman placed her left hand in front and in the middle, and ensured that cameras collect a glimpse of both her wedding ring and her engagement ring.
The ring she wore was her vintage cartier Infinity Band, with three large diamonds surrounded by smaller jewelry.
While she was later upgraded around 2016 to an emerald-cut diamond that takes place in Platinum, the band remains an important symbol of her marriage to Urban.
Only four days later, E! News confirmed that Kidman and Urban were separated together after 19 years.
The couple, that Daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, has reportedly had lived apart since the beginning of the summer.
Sources told the outlet that Urban was the one who chose to end the marriage, while Kidman had tried to make it.
Since then she has been taking care of their daughters in Nashville’s house, while Urban bought another real estate in the city and continues his High and living world Tour, with his next performance planned for 2 October in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Neither Kidman nor Urban have publicly spoken about the breakup.
Earlier in the summer, however, Kidman submitted paperwork to become a resident of Portugal without mentioning her husband on the application.
At the time, a source explained close to the couple that the absence of Urban was due to planning conflicts.
“Keith could not be in Portugal for this appointment because he is currently on tour in the US,” the source clarified in July.
“It is mandatory that applicants are physically present to request the visa. He is planned to submit his application at a later date that works with his tour schedule.”
The divorce marks the end of one of the most sustainable marriages in Hollywood, almost two decades after the first two Wednesday in 2006.
Kidman, who was previously married to Tom Cruise and children Bella, 32, and Connor, 30, sharing with him, has not yet publicly tackled her current situation.
