Offset reflected on how his marriage to Cardi B ended in a new interview and shared what he wishes he had done differently.
The 33-year-old rapper said their divorce is not yet finalized, but he regrets the way things deteriorated when their conflict became public.
The Turn it off hitmaker admitted, “I should have respected her a lot more. I made bad decisions, like stepping out. I have to take that on the chin. When she left, I had to take that on the chin. … We have so much, our children, to live for. I was selfish, and I can say that as a man,” during his interview on Honey, this is Keke Palmer podcast on Tuesday, October 7.
The Migos rapper, who shares daughters Kulture, 7, and Blossom, 13 months, and son Wave, 4, with Cardi, also shared that he wishes the internet wasn’t so involved in their personal relationship.
“I wish there weren’t so many things happening on the internet. I’ve been out of pocket a few times because you feel like you’re being bullied. I used to never say anything. I tried to say something recently just to be nice, to defend myself, because the story would be nasty,” Offset explained about the social media trolls against him.
Offset confessed that if he could ‘rewrite’ the book his marriage to the Upwards rapper would “never have been public.”
