Ariana grande made headlines after being announced as the newest cast member of American horror story season 13.
In a surprise announcement shared on Halloween, it was revealed that the 32-year-old pop star is joining the long-running horror anthology.
The new season, premiering in October 2026, will also feature the return of fan favorites including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman.
The creepy reveal video started with Vera Lynn’s I’ll see you plays in the background before transitioning into chilling scenes and ending with Roberts’ iconic line: “Surprise, bitch. I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me.”
Fans immediately flooded social media with excitement over the unexpected casting.
“ARIANA GRANDE IN AHS OH F**K YEAH,” one person tweeted, while another wrote, “Jessica Lange returns to AHS and on top of that with Miss Ariana Grande this just got personal.”
Others expressed their sheer shock, with one fan asking: “Ariana, what are you doing here?”
However, the Bad The star’s addition to the series came as a surprise to many, although it is not the first time she has worked with creator Ryan Murphy.
She previously appeared on his show Scream Queens as Chanel #2.
Murphy once shared that the music icon and actress have always been a huge fan of American Horror Story, saying she was “obsessed” with the show even before their first collaboration.
Additionally, the news has since sparked excitement, with fans calling this lineup one of the most iconic in AHS history.
