Stranger things” star Finn Wolfhard has refused to become involved in further controversy by responding to incessant trolling on social media.
He’s been subjected to it, especially on Instagram, after mimicking Kanye West’s interruption of Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards during a live performance with his band.
Finn Wolfhard raised the ire of Taylor Swift fans by uttering Kanye West’s infamous line from VMA 2009: “Hey Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’ll let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!”.
The Canadian celebrity’s last Instagram post, shared in June 2025, has received a flood of comments from Taylor Swift fans since his VMA performance.
Outraged by his mention of Taylor Swift, one user repeatedly posted “Worst Actor Ever (Finn Wolfhard)” so many times it seemed almost endless.
However, the actor has neither disabled his comment section nor responded to the criticism.
