Tina Knowles honors deceased Beyoncé fan with heartfelt message

Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles is mourning the death of a devoted hive member.

In an Instagram post at the weekend, the 71-year-old American businesswoman paid a heartfelt tribute to Sydney Hardeman following her shocking death last week.

The 25-year-old went viral in 2019 when she appeared in the Netflix documentary Beyoncé: Homecoming.

Last weekend, her mother, Jamie Hardeman, confirmed the unfortunate news that her daughter had committed suicide.

In the social media post shared on Saturday, November 15, Knowles wrote an emotional message alongside a video montage.

“So sad to hear the news that this angel is with the Lord. My love goes out to her family and friends, and all the members of the hive who knew and loved her,” she began.

The Texas-born philanthropist continued, “I remember the viral video of her expression at Coachella and all the photos I saw afterward. I didn’t know her personally, but I feel a real sadness today at the loss of this young, beautiful woman.”

Six years ago, Sydney’s wide-eyed, open-mouthed reaction quickly turned her into a fan-favorite meme.

“Praying for her family,” Knowles added before concluding with three hands clasped together, two red hearts and two red rose emojis.

“Rest in Heaven, Sydney – one from our beloved Beyhive,” was written across the video.

While loved ones are still searching for clarity on what led to her heartbreaking suicide, the mother revealed that some shifts had been noticed in the devoted Beyoncé supporter’s mood following the death of her grandfather.
