Katy Perry appears to be lining up her vacation plans with Justin Trudeau.
A source said People magazine that the 41-year-old singer is already “making plans for the holidays” with the 53-year-old, noting that the two have grown closer in recent months.
According to the insider, Perry is especially looking forward to wrapping her up Lives tour. “Without exaggeration, this year has been a whirlwind for her,” the source said, adding that she hasn’t had much space to think about life after the last shows.
During her break, the source noted that Perry will turn her attention to her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, whom she shares with former fiancé Orlando Bloom. “She is now a single mother and a lot of that will come into focus next year,” the person added.
Questions remain about Trudeau’s own vacation schedule, including whether he will spend time with ex-wife Sophie Grégoire and their three children.
Grégoire recently addressed the public attention surrounding his relationship with Perry, saying on the “Arlene Is Alone” podcast, “We are all human and things affect us,” calling it “normal” to feel that impact.
“How you respond to things is up to you. That’s why I choose to listen to the music instead of the noise.”
Perry herself hinted at the romance last month during a concert in Prague, telling a fan she was “dating someone” as they brushed off their staged proposal. The pair had already turned heads after attending the Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris to celebrate Perry’s 41st birthday.
Sources have described Trudeau as enthusiastic about the relationship, saying, “He’s crazy about her and thinks she’s the perfect woman,” noting, “They both have a spark for each other.”
