Beyoncé reaches major music milestone after ‘Cowboy Carter’

Beyoncé just reached the top Billboard‘s End of Year Tour Report 2025, with Cowboy Carter ending as the highest-grossing solo tour of the year.

The tour earned $407.6 million from 32 shows and the total attendance at the concerts was 1.6 million.

Beyonce did a residency style in nine cities Billboard confirm that Cowboy Carter is now the highest-grossing country tour ever recorded.

The result marks another major touring milestone for Beyonce, as it also places her among a small group of artists with multiple tours that have surpassed the $400 million mark.

Earlier this year, the Single Ladies hitmaker completed a run of five performances at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, raking in more than $50 million with 217,000 tickets sold.

As reported by Rolling stone magazine, the Los Angeles run was the “largest reported single-location engagement” of the year to date.

It was also the fifth highest-grossing tour stop in Boxscore history, beaten only by U2 at the Sphere in Las Vegas in 2023 and 2024, Harry Styles at New York’s Madison Square Garden in 2022 and Take That’s Wembley Stadium in 2011.

Beyonce kicked off her tour on April 28 and returned to the venue on May 1, 4, 7 and 9, grossing an average of $11.1 million per night, with more than 43,000 in attendance for each show.

In second place is The Weeknd’s mammoth After hours until sunrise tour, which grossed $336.7 million (£251.7 million).
