Kate Hudson has expressed her gratitude for having a supportive family who understands and appreciates her work.
In her last conversation with E! NewsKate noted that she maintains an eternal “respect for every actor in our family,” a sentiment reinforced by recent reflective conversations with her mother, Goldie Hawn.
Speaking about her true feeling, she recalled: “My mother and I were talking about this. Life, it goes fast.”
“And you just have to take in every second and every moment that I have with my family and my parents, I’m going to be very present in that.”
She also shared that since all her family members share a passion for the industry, there is a level of empathy that she believes is rare for people outside of “Hollywood royalty.”
She continued: “My family is part of the industry and loves the industry and so there is a familiarity and understanding.”
“There is recognition that is very different than growing up in a family that didn’t understand and understand the business,” Hudson concluded.
