A beauty influencer in Brazil has died suddenly after a ‘medical emergency’. She was 25.
Maria Rita Rodrigues, who had more than 11,000 followers on Instagram and 65,000 on TikTok, lived in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. She was known for sharing fashion and beauty content, including reviews of popular makeup products.
The influencer’s death was announced by her parents on social media.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter Maria Rita,” they wrote.
Shortly after news of Maria’s death broke, her fellow content creator and friend, Luana Lilian, took to her Instagram account to honor the late influencer.
Luana wrote that the late beauty influencer was a “charming person” and “one of those presences that effortlessly light up a room.”
She further wrote, “To the family I send my most sincere and heartfelt hug. May you find strength in the love she planted in all who had the privilege of knowing her.”
“Her light remains in every memory, in every story told, in every life she touched – including mine,” Luana concluded.
