Brandi Glanville is getting honest about the cost of removing her breast implants, as they were the cause of her facial disfigurement.
In a recent chat on February 26, an episode of the I do, part 2 podcast, the 53-year-old TV personality claimed that her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, failed to show her support during her health struggles.
Brandi said of her twenty-year-old implants, “They made me sick.
“I’ve been to 21 doctors. I’m telling you: [it cost] $200,000. I had insurance, but the people at my insurance, Kaiser, let’s say:
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, who has dealt with facial disfigurement and undergone several treatments for it, recalled “paying out of pocket to see specialists, infectious disease doctors, rheumatologists, every doctor you can think of, I’ve seen.”
Initially, her mammograms came out “fine,” and medical officers did not feel they were the cause of her problems.
“It came overnight. I have weird lumps on my neck. … I still have them,” Brandi revealed. “I can’t explain the brain fog. The fatigue.”
And through an ultrasound, the doctor discovered that her right breast was ‘torn’ and had ‘leaking’, resulting in ‘silicone in both my lymph nodes’.
Now Brandi admitted that she feels much better after having her implants removed,
“I’ve been off for two weeks now, but the first week I was almost exhausted,” she said. “I actually did too much because I was so excited to move.”
While dealing with the difficult time, Brandi, mother of Mason, 18, and Jake, 20, claimed her ex-husband wasn’t “supportive” of her at all.
‘He didn’t do that [shown support]Brandi commented. “But we get along great and that’s all I can ask for. We are on holiday together.”
She noted, “I missed a few because I was sick and it sucked not being with my boys. I was literally in bed for four days straight.”
