Man City face crisis-hit Chelsea in the FA Cup tie at Wembley

A surprise twist awaits when Manchester City challenge Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday, with both sides looking to end a two-year drought in football’s oldest knockout competition.

City enter the competition to claim the title having lost the last two consecutive finals to Manchester United and Crystal Palace, having last won the trophy in 2023.

For those unfamiliar, this is a record fourth consecutive final for Prep Guariola’s team as he is embroiled in a heated argument over a trophy already secured by the English League Cup.

It is pertinent to note that City are also at second position in the Premier League battling with just two points with just two rounds of matches remaining.

City face a chaotic Chelsea team at Wembley after a turbulent season that has seen the Club World Cup champions sack two coaches since the start of the year despite their World Cup status.

Chelsea are currently relying on interim coach Calum McFarlane to end their season on a high note. Meanwhile, Guardiola’s win was an incredible victory with his 17th major trophy with City and claiming his overall 35th position.
